We’re excited to announce our new meeting location at Alaska Christian College (ACC) in Soldotna!

Starting October 18, 2025, the Central Peninsula Garden Club will host its free monthly gardening programs at ACC.
Join us at 1:00 PM on the third Saturday of each month for an afternoon of learning, inspiration, and community connection.

We welcome a very special guest who will transport us to a world of vibrant colors, fragrances, and sheer beauty.
Please join us in welcoming Denise, the founder and cultivator of Funny River Peonies.
Denise’s journey began with a love for these timeless flowers and grew into Funny River Peonies, a small, family-run farm that has become a hidden gem for peony enthusiasts. Located on the banks of the Kenai River's "Funny River" in Alaska, her farm is a testament to what dedicated, careful cultivation can achieve. She specializes in hardy, exquisite varieties that not only survive but thrive, producing blooms of incredible size, vibrant colors, and intoxicating scents that are the envy of gardeners everywhere.
But Denise’s farm is a story of patience, expertise, and a commitment to sustainable growing practices. She lives and breathes peonies, from the first sprout in spring to the division of roots in fall, and she has a wealth of knowledge that she is eager to share with us.
